The atmosphere is relatively dry and no significant shower activity is forecast during the next 72 hours. Mostly fair to partly cloudy skies will be experienced, with the possibility of a few isolated showers around Monday into Tuesday as weak unstable conditions from a shearline inches closer, to affect mainly the Northern Windward Islands.
However, a gradual deterioration in sea conditions is forecast from tonight, with swells expecting to peak near 3.5m (12ft) by Monday morning on the eastern coastline. HIGH SURF ADVISORY AND SMALL CRAFT WARNING WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES from around 6pm Sunday 19th January, 2020 until 6pm Tuesday 21st January 2020.
A moderate to occasionally fresh north easterly wind flow (25km/h – 40km/h) will be experienced into Monday, blowing predominantly from the east with a possible decrease in wind speeds Monday into Tuesday as the aforementioned shearline affects the island chain.
There will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
