The Atlantic High Pressure System struggles to rebuild across the islands, with east northeasterly trade-winds bringing a few cloud patches. Marginal mid-upper level support could trigger a few showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) during Thursday. Slight haze due to thin patches of dust concentration, are expected to clear late Thursday and scattered showers are likely, with weak instability across our area during Friday.
Moderate (20 - 30 km/h) east northeasterly trade-winds could temporarily decrease (10 – 25km/h) between Thursday and Friday evening, then gradually increase to become fresh (up to 35 km/h) by Saturday night. Sea conditions across our islands are slight to moderate,
with swells ranging 0.5 to 1.2 m on the west coasts and up to 2.0 m on the east coasts with northeasterly swells. Occasionally, swells heights are expected to fall to near 1.5 m on the east coast.
