Occasional brief showers can be expected across St. Vincent & the Grenadines as series of shallow cloud patches cross the islands over the next 24 hours. The likelihood of significant showers further decreases from midweek as the Atlantic High dominates the area. At the same time, a slight improvement to the visibility is anticipated. On Friday however, deterioration may occur again heading into the weekend as dust haze concentration is forecast to increase.

Moderate to strong(25km/h-40km/h) easterly trades will move across the island chain, becoming east south easterly on occasions. A slight decrease(up to 35km/h) is expected from Thursday, however, conditions will still remain breezy. Moderate(1.5m -2.5m) sea conditions will continue as swells peak up to 1.5m on the western coasts and 2.2m on the eastern coasts, deteriorating to 2.5m on the eastern coasts by late this afternoon. Therefore, small craft operators and sea-bathers are advised to exercise caution for above normal sea swells. A short period of gradual improvement to slight to moderate(1.2m - 2.0m)is anticipated around Thursday evening.
