Mostly fair and hazy conditions are forecast across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) during the next 48 hours. Please exercise caution for reduced visibility and air quality due to moderate Saharan Dust intrusion. After which, a trough will begin to affect the islands resulting in a few showers from Tuesday night into Wednesday across SVG. Also, a thinning out of the dust haze is anticipated around this time period.
Winds will be blowing predominantly from the east north east (ENE) at approximately 15km/h – to 30km/h becoming easterly on occasions. A decrease in wind speeds, 10km/h- 20km/h, will take place around Tuesday night during the passage of the trough. An east south easterly (ESE) flow is anticipated behind of the trough on Wednesday.
Slight to moderate sea conditions with swells peaking to 1.0m on the western coasts and 1.5m on the eastern coasts are forecast during the next 72 hours.
