As a tropical wave continues to move westward and away from St. Vincent & the Grenadines, a few pockets of showers are likely as moisture patches cross the islands tonight. A weak ridge pattern gradually builds as Thursday unfolds with a few isolated showers likely and across the afternoon period. Apart from a few isolated early morning showers across the Grenadines on Friday, fair to occasionally cloudy conditions should persist. Early Saturday instability associated with "Tropical Depression 11" should begin to affect the islands. Pockets of light to moderate showers and isolated thunderstorms are anticipated.
Occasionally strong(~40km/h) east north easterly(ENE) trades could decrease across Thursday becoming fresh/moderate(~20-30km/h) over the next few days.

Sea conditions will be moderate (1.5m - 2.0m) in open water tonight into tomorrow. Therefore, small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and gusty winds especially on eastern coasts. An improvement to slight to moderate(1.0m - 1.5m) can be expected from Friday night.

Meanwhile, Tropical Depression ELEVEN is located over the Eastern Atlantic about 935 miles east of the SVG. The system possesses speeds of 35 mph and is moving westward at 15 mph. Model guidance suggests that the system should pass north east of SVG.

The SVG Meteorological Office will continue to monitor the development of this system as it moves across the Atlantic and provide the necessary updates.
