Tonight, few moderate to heavy showers are forecast across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) due to lingering moisture from a tropical wave. Tomorrow morning will be met with some partly cloudy skies, before instability from Tropical Depression Thirteen begins to affect the Eastern Caribbean, including SVG.

On its present track, the center of Tropical Depression Thirteen is forecast to pass just north of the Leeward Islands on Friday evening as a tropical storm. As the system makes its west-northwest track near 21 mph (33 km/h), Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is likely to experience moderate to heavy showers and chance of isolated thunderstorms from Friday night into Saturday. By Saturday night, although a shearline will develop to the north east of the island chain, model guidance is indicating that shower activity will begin to decrease, with mostly fair conditions forecast for Sunday morning.

A light to slightly moderate wind speed (5kmh- 25km/h) will move across the islands, becoming mostly from the south east from Friday, and increasing in speed from Friday night into Saturday morning to approximately 30km/h -40km/h. Consequently, with this increase in wind speeds, sea conditions will deteriorate with swells peaking to 3.0m (10ft).  As Saturday progress, the wind speeds will decrease and slight to moderate sea conditions (1.0m-1.5m) will return by Sunday.

Slight haze intrusion is possible around Saturday and Sunday.
