Isolated showers are likely across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight. Isolated showers/thunderstorms are possible Thursday, but sunny skies with dry/stable conditions are likely Friday. Cloudiness and showers could increase across our Grenadine Islands late Saturday, spreading across SVG with thunderstorm activity by overnight/early Sunday.
Tropical Storms Paulette and Rene (in the Atlantic Ocean) are moving west north-westward and away from the island chain and we continue to monitor the Tropical Atlantic Ocean, for further developments.
Gentle (~10 – 20 km/h) north-easterly breeze tonight could become light (~5 – 10 km/h) and variable or
calm by Thursday and little/no wind-flow during Friday could result in heat-stress. Light southerly breeze is expected by late Saturday.
Sea-conditions on western coasts may appear smooth at times (near 0.5 m) and eastern coasts are expected to be slight to moderate (1.0 – 1.5 m), with north-easterly swells. Swell heights could increase during Friday, ranging 1.0 to 1.8 m across SVG.
