A tropical wave is crossing the islands and periods of light rain with pockets of moderate/heavy showers with thunderstorm activity can be expected across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight into Monday. A thin film of haze may be noticeable across our area late Monday. Another tropical wave could be approaching the islands Tuesday and unstable conditions are likely again, with showers and thunderstorms lingering into Wednesday. Slight haze may be noticeable Wednesday afternoon.
Gentle (~10 – 20 km/h) easterly breeze could increase to moderate (~20 – 30 km/h) breeze and turn east south-easterly by early Monday, with occasional gusts near 38 km/h.
Wind speeds could gradually increase Wednesday, becoming fresh (up to 40 km/h) across our islands.
Slight (near 1.0 m) sea conditions are on western coasts and slight to moderate (near 1.5 m) sea conditions are on eastern coasts with east north-easterly swells, possibly rising (1.2 – 2.0 m) Wednesday.
