The Atlantic High Pressure System is the dominant feature across our islands with a few isolated showers possible overnight; as a weak surface trough
crosses the island chain, with most of scattered showers north of SVG. A low - mid level trough is expected to cross the islands on Thursday with moisture convergence behind the axis on Friday into Saturday bringing scattered showers. Models indicate that showers could concentrate across the Grenadines. The upper levels remain relatively dry (<30%) and subsident. However, lower level moisture should increase Saturday and Sunday resulting in showers.
Variable light (6-11km/h) breeze overnight becoming occasionally gentle to moderate (12-25km/h) from the east south east; should generally increase Thursday night to moderate (20-28km/h) backing to east north-east Saturday. Dust concentrations should remain less than 20 ug/m**3 resulting in good visibility into the weekend.
Slight to moderate (1.0m – 1.5m) seas across SVG tonight should increase slightly to near 1.8m on east coasts Thursday, with north-east swells into the weekend
