Scattered showers are forecast for Saturday afternoon and Saturday night across SVG, as a tropical wave inches closer to the island chain. The most significant shower activity is behind of the wave. Though the island will experience an increase in cloud cover and occasional scattered showers as time progress, most of the shower activity is forecast for around Monday, as the mid levels become more moist and upper levels begin to lend support to shower enhancement. Scattered moderate showers, periods of rain with a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms are possible around this time.
A general moderate (10km/h-30km/h) east south-easterly (ESE) wind flow will move across the island chain from this Saturday evening into Tuesday.
Sea conditions will remain slight to moderate in open waters, with swells peaking to 2.0m on the eastern coasts, and 1.0m on the western coasts during this 72 hours period. In addition, there will be no significant haze intrusion within this 72 hours period.
