A few light to moderate showers are forecast to continue this afternoon and tonight across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. On Friday, sinking air aloft will result in mostly fair conditions with isolated showers. A tropical wave will be approaching the islands, with its associated moisture confined mostly over the Southern Islands. The Grenadines are likely to receive some showers from this instability from late Friday into Saturday. Favourable upper levels around Saturday will allow for some showers over the mainland. Mostly fair conditions are anticipated on Sunday.
A moderate (20km/h-35km/h) easterly wind flow will move across the island chai, becoming fresh (20km/h- 40km/h) from tomorrow evening into the weekend. Sea conditions will be slight to moderate in open waters, with swells peaking to 2.0m on the eastern coasts, and 1.0m on the western coasts, with a slight deterioration from Friday evening as the winds increase. In addition, there will be slight haze intrusion from around Saturday.
