Showers are forecast to continue today (Saturday) across SVG as a surface to low level trough affects the region. Upper levels will lend occasional support and showers are likely to get moderate to heavy at times. Instability will last into Sunday, however, dry and suppressive mid levels around that time will allow only a few showers. Weak unstable conditions will be affecting the islands from late Sunday night into Monday resulting in occasional scattered showers.
Moderate (15km/h-30km/h) trade winds will move across the islands during the next 72 hours period, blowing predominantly from the east north east (ENE). Consequently, smooth to slight (0.5m-1.0m) east north easterly swells are anticipated on the western coasts, and moderate (1.5m) are likely on the eastern coasts.
In addition, there will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
