A High Pressure System in the Atlantic Ocean is pumping brisk trades which bring patches of low-level clouds and a few showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Saturday night and during Sunday, lower-level moisture and upper-level features could support scattered showers across SVG and isolated thunderstorms are likely towards Sunday evening/night.
Moderate to fresh (‘~25 – 40 km/h) north-easterly trades are across our islands. Temporary decrease (‘~15 – 30 km/h) may be noticeable during day-time on Saturday and Sunday, returning to fresh (up to 40 km/h) during night-times.
Slight to moderate sea-conditions are across our islands; with north-easterly swells near 1.2 m on western
coasts and near 1.8 m on eastern coasts. Moderate sea-conditions (1.5 – 2.0 m) with easterly swells can be expected across SVG during Friday, due to increased wind-speeds…Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for above normal easterly sea-swells and occasional gusty winds…A temporary fall ( 1.2 – 1.8 m) in swell heights may be noticeable Saturday and east north-easterly swells are expected by night-fall.
