The Western Atlantic High Pressure System remains dominant and continues to induce weak shearlines, occasionally triggering short lived showers across SVG. Cooler temperatures and moderate to rough sea-conditions are likely to persist within the next 12 hours as the system gradually weakens.
The Small-craft Warning and High-Wind Advisory is now discontinued. Persons in wind-exposed areas should still remain vigilant; there is potential for gusts to cause damage to overhanging wires, some trees/plants and loose objects.
Small-craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise extreme caution. Sea swells are currently north-easterly, peaking to 1.5 m on western coasts and near 3.0 m on eastern coasts and decreasing. Gentle to moderate (~20 - 35 km/h) trades and slight to moderate (1.2 – 2.0 m) sea-conditions are anticipated by mid afternoon Monday.
