Scattered showers will continue to linger around Saint Vincent and the Grenadines today and tonight. By early Thursday morning, a shearline will be located over the Northern Windwards, and will likely result in an increase in cloud cover over SVG and a few scattered showers during Thursday. A few showers are forecast around Friday morning with fair to occasionally cloudy skies throughout the day. Moderate showers are possible by Friday night into Saturday.
Winds will blow from the east north east to east (ENE-E) at roughly 20km/h -40km/h, decreasing to 15km/h-35km/h from Thursday into Saturday. Seas will remain moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.5m on the western coasts and range between 2.5m-2.8m on the eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution. From Friday, a gradual improvement is anticipated with slight to moderate conditions (1.0m-2.0m). In addition, there will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
