As the Atlantic high pressure system gradually regains dominance, a decrease in shower activity is likely across St. Vincent & the Grenadines towards midweek. Strong(near 40km/h) east to east north easterly trades are anticipated across our islands over the next 24 hour period. Occasionally fresh(near 35km/h) breeze can be expected from Wednesday with a temporary shift in direction(to east south east) around nightfall Thursday.
Seas are generally moderate with swells peaking up to 1.5m on western coasts and near 2.5 on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution for above normal sea swells and gusty winds. Swell heights could fall early Wednesday peaking to 2.0m on eastern coasts. There is no significant dust haze intrusion for this forecast period.
