Concentrations of Saharan dust have thinned out across our area, although occasional patches of slight haze may be noticeable at times. Low-level clouds could bring a few showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight. An approaching tropical wave could bring increased cloudiness towards Tuesday afternoon; with light rain, pockets of moderate showers and isolated thunderstorms expected across SVG during the night. The tropical wave could linger near the island chain during Wednesday and Thursday, with upper-level features supporting moderate/heavy showers and thunderstorm activity…Be alert in areas prone to flash-flooding, or near rivers and streams.

east north-easterly trades are across our islands. Occasional reduction in wind speeds may be noticeable late Wednesday and during Thursday, with gentle to moderate (15 – 25 km/h) breeze becoming light with varying directions during Thursday.
Swell heights range 0.5 m to 1.5 m on western coasts and up to 1.8 m on eastern coasts of SVG, with east north-easterly swells. Swell heights are expected to start falling Wednesday (0.5 m – 1.2 m on western coasts and up to 1.5 m on eastern coasts), with slight sea-conditions (0.5 m – 1.2 m) across SVG by Wednesday night.
