An increase in cloud cover and the possibility of showers increases into tomorrow as a tropical wave approaches SVG. During Thursday, pockets of light to moderate showers and the chance of isolated thunderstorms are likely as the wave interacts with the island chain. Moisture associated with the Inter-tropical Convergence Zone(ITCZ) behind the wave could maintain cloudy skies early Friday and allow for similar activity(as Thursday). Saharan dust concentrations should increase on Friday reducing air quality. A slight improvement to weather conditions is anticipated as the day progresses. Around late evening however, another tropical wave approaches the islands and should begin to affect SVG early Saturday. Again, there is potential for showers with varying intensity and thunderstorm activity. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should remain alert.

Moderate to fresh(20-30km/h)east north easterly trades should become east south easterly (ESE) by Friday and higher gusts could accompany showers. Winds should become north easterly early Saturday, then east south easterly by late evening. Sea conditions will be slight to moderate with swells peaking at 1.0m on the western coasts and 2.0m on the eastern coasts during the next 72 hours.
