Gentle to moderate (15 – 25 km/h) east north-easterly breeze could turn east south-easterly across SVG during Thursday, decreasing to light (near 10 km/h) by late Saturday.
Sea-conditions in open water are smooth to slight (less than 0.5 m) on the west of SVG and slight (up to 1.0 m) on the east of SVG, with east north-easterly swells. A Low Pressure area in the North Atlantic Ocean is propagating northerly long-period waves which can reach the shores of SVG by Thursday night; Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise extreme caution, due to life-threatening surf and dangerous rip currents. Swell heights in open water could gradually rise; nearing 1.0 m on the west and 1.2 m on the east of SVG by Friday night.
