Moderate to strong (30km/h-40km/h) east north easterly (ENE) trade winds will continue to flow across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for the remainder of the day. Low level clouds moving along the trades will produce some showers from time to time.
From Tuesday, a jet stream will move into the area at upper levels producing a favourable upper level environment, and though mid levels will continue to remain relatively dry; the chance of showers will increase from Tuesday night. Moderate isolated showers are forecast around Tuesday night (mainly on the northern portion of the mainland) and scattered showers are forecast for Wednesday. Isolated showers are likely during the early parts of Thursday, becoming mostly fair by Thursday afternoon.
Cool conditions are forecast as moderate to strong winds blow, however a decrease in wind speeds are forecast from Tuesday to approximately 25km/h-35km/h. Present moderate sea conditions (1.5m-2.5m) warranting a marine advisory should slightly improve by Tuesday afternoon with swells peaking at 1.2m on the western coasts and 2.2m on the eastern coasts. In addition, haze intrusion of varying intensities can be expected throughout the next few days.
