The Atlantic high pressure system would continue to dominate the weather pattern across SVG within the next 24 hours. Therefore, shallow could patches will move across the islands from time to time accompanied by brief light isolated showers. A general east north easterly (ENE) wind flow is expected with moderate to fresh(20-35km/h) wind speeds persisting over the next 3 days. Occasional cloudy skies may be expected on Sunday and some scattered showers on Monday as unstable conditions cross the island chain.
Slight to moderate sea conditions with swells ranging between 1.0m-1.2m on the western coasts and 2.0m-2.3m on the eastern coasts are likely across the weekend. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds especially on eastern coasts. In addition, Saharan dust concentrations of varying intensities is likely to intrude by Saturday afternoon, decreasing the visibility across the islands.
