No significant rainfall accumulations occurred over past couple days, as dry stable mid levels inhibited shower activity.

The High Pressure System remains dominant across the region, with a weak trade wind surge/pulse

on the south-eastern and southern periphery of the High Pressure. The mid levels are relatively dry and stable, but a pocket of moisture associated with the surge could result in some scattered showers across our area today. Isolated trade wind showers are possible Sunday, then another weak pulse expected across our area Monday with scattered showers.

Moderate to fresh (20-38 km/h) trade winds are expected across the islands this weekend. By Sunday and Monday, occasional strong (up to 46km/h) wind gusts are possible.

Today, seas should be slight to moderate 4ft - 6ft (1.2m -1.8m) on the west and east coasts, increasing on the east by this afternoon. By Saturday night, moderate 6ft – 8ft (1.8m - 2.5m) sea swells expected on the east coast becoming possibly rough Sunday into Monday.... Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.

Fair visibility is expected today, with a low level of dust concentration, thinning out on Sunday to increase again on Sunday night resulting in a hazy Monday.
