The western Atlantic high pressure system would continue to dominate for the remainder of Monday allowing for fair to partly cloudy skies and a low chance of showers. A series of weak shearlines from Tuesday could contribute to occasionally cloudy skies across the mainland and Grenadines with a 70% chance of scattered showers.
Moderate to fresh(25-35km/h) north east to east north easterly trades will cross the islands within the next 24 hours. Wind speeds could decrease and become gentle/moderate(15-25 km/h) from Wednesday, occasionally becoming easterly. By mid Thursday, wind direction could shift to east south easterly. Seas are moderate in open water peaking up to 1.5m on western coasts and ranging between 2.0m to 2.5m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution for above normal sea swells and gusty winds. Sea conditions may begin to improve and become slight/moderate (1.0m - 1.5m) around Wednesday evening as wind speeds reduce. Slight Saharan dust haze concentrations could begin to traverse the area around late Thursday night.
