Scattered showers are likely around Monday night into Tuesday as weak unstable conditions move across the island chain. Wednesday is forecast to be mostly fair. Fair conditions are likely to persist into Thursday.
There will be a decrease in wind speeds as the day progresses, blowing mostly from the east north east (ENE) at approximately 15km/h-25km/h. Winds should remain like that up until Tuesday as the weak unstable conditions exit the area, and increase in speed on Wednesday to about 20km/h-35km/h. Sea conditions will remain moderate to rough in open waters with swells peaking at 1.5m on the western coasts and 3.0m on the eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds. By Tuesday, there should be an improvement on the seas with swells peaking at 1.0m on the western coasts and 2.0m on the eastern coasts. In addition, there will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
