A few occasional showers are likely during the next three days, as low level clouds embedded within the moderate to brisk trade winds move across the island chain, with the highest chance of showers forecast for around Friday into early Saturday morning. The showers are anticipated to be brief as mid levels remain dry and relatively stable.
Winds will blow generally from the east north east (ENE) at 25km/h-40km/h (possible higher gusts in some areas) veering to east (E) on Saturday and decreasing in speed to 20km/h-35km/h. Consequently, sea conditions will gradually deteriorate over the next couple of days, with swells peaking at 1.5m on the western coasts and ranging between 2.5m - 3.0m on the eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds. In addition, a thin film of haze may be visible from Thursday into Friday.
