A few light scattered showers are anticipated tonight and tomorrow, as low level cloud patches embedded within the Atlantic high pressure system create instability across St. Vincent and the Grenadines from time to time. Some of these showers may become moderate in isolated areas as lifting at upper levels creates temporary enhancement.
Friday should be fair initially, but an increase in cloud cover is forecast as the day progresses and shower activity is forecast to increase towards the weekend as unstable conditions at mid to upper levels begin to affect the islands.
Winds will blow from the east north east (ENE) veering to east (E) at 15km/h-30km/h, with possible higher gusts of 35km/h allowing for breezy conditions. Seas will be slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.0m on the western coasts and 2.0m on the eastern coasts. Swells may become agitated on the eastern coasts due to higher wind gusts on occasions, therefore sea bathers are asked to exercise caution.
In addition, no significant haze intrusion is forecast for the remainder of the week.
