A few showers were observed across the Grenadines this afternoon as low-level instability moved across the island. Instability is forecast to persist, allowing for a few showers, possibly, becoming more frequent from Monday night through to Wednesday, mainly across the southern portion of the island chain.
Winds will blow from the east south east (ESE) from tonight into Monday, becoming predominantly easterly (E) at 20km/h – 30km/h for the remainder of the forecast period. Seas will be slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.0m on the west coast and 2.0m on the eastern coasts. Due to occasional wind gusts, seas on the eastern coasts may temporarily become agitated, therefore sea bathers are asked to exercise caution.
In addition, varying concentrations of haze intrusion will move across the island chain during the forecast period.
