Model data suggests that a deep pool of moisture can be expected across the area tonight resulting in more showers and cloudy skies continuing into tomorrow Monday, as mid to upper level features provide some enhancement.
Late Monday, a gradual drying out of the atmosphere is expected as the High Pressure rebuilds across the region. However, an increase in mid level moisture is possible by late Tuesday again. Occasional moisture bands/showers should cross our area as moisture converging along the southern edge of the High Pressure System is being pushed by the north easterly trades.
Fresh to strong (29-45 km/h) north-east trades with higher gusts, can be expected this week as the Atlantic High Pressure System builds across the region.
Sea swell heights are rising both on west and east of our islands. Small craft operators and sea bather are being advised to exercise caution. Slight sea swells on the west to moderate sea swells on the east could reach up to 2.5m on the east by Monday, becoming moderate to rough (up to 2m on west and 3m on the east) by Tuesday. The continual push of the winds on the ocean surface could result in a deterioration in sea conditions... Warnings may become necessary during this week
Good visibility (except in showers) can be expected, with only few thin patches of dust concentration..
