Fresh to strong (29-50 km/h) north-east trade winds with higher gusts are expected across our islands for the rest of this week and into this weekend. These brisk winds are being pumped by the Atlantic High Pressure System.

Our islands would be positioned on the southern edge of the High Pressure, where occasional weak troughs and associated moisture at the lower levels, will cross the island chain. This will result in Fair and breezy conditions becoming occasionally cloudy with scattered showers.

Sea swell heights are expected to increase by Saturday up to 2.5m on west and 3.5 m on east coasts; of our islands. The Small craft warning remains in effect with the potential for a high surf advisory over the weekend.

Good visibility (except in showers) can be expected, with only thin patches of dust concentration
