Showers and isolated thunderstorms are forecast to continue across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines tonight into Sunday. As Sunday progresses, a reduction in shower activity is anticipated as the wave moves westward away from the island chain.
By Monday, a few scattered showers are forecast as the Atlantic high-pressure system regains dominance across the region. The island should experience some fair conditions from around Monday afternoon into Tuesday, before another tropical wave (presently weak) moves into the vicinity around Tuesday evening.
Winds will blow from the east northeast (ENE) to east (E) at approximately 20km/h- 40km/h, with higher gusts near showers. Winds will decrease in speed from Monday and blow from the east. Moderate conditions remain on the seas, with swells peaking at 1.5m on the western coasts, and peaking at 2.5m on the eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers are asked to exercise caution. In addition, a thin layer of Saharan haze will continue to be across the region.
