Instability associated with a low-level trough will trigger a few showers across our islands this afternoon into tonight. A ridge pattern should begin to build and dominate the conditions for most parts of Thursday. Around afternoon Friday, a tropical wave should begin to affect SVG with occasional cloudy skies and light showers. Similar conditions are anticipated along Saturday evening.
Gentle to moderate(15-25km/h) east north easterly (ENE) to easterly trades will cross the islands within the next 72 hours, slightly increasing(30km/h) by the end of the week. Seas will be slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.0m on the western coasts, and 2.0m on the eastern coasts. In addition, haze intrusion of varying concentrations will be across the region but by late Friday concentrations should thin out from our area.
