Fair to partly cloudy skies may be interrupted by occasional cloudy conditions by late Saturday and the chance of showers should increase as a tropical wave inches closer to our island chain. This wave should continue to affect our islands on Sunday along with hazy conditions. By evening, a ridge pattern should begin to re-establish itself and become the dominant feature for most parts of Monday.
Moderate to fresh(20-35km/h) easterly to east north east easterly trades will cross the islands before becoming strong(~40km/h) temporarily on Saturday. Seas will be slight to moderate in open waters with swells ranging between 0.5m -1.0m on the western coasts, and 1.5m - 2.3m on the eastern coasts. Seas may be agitated on Saturday as wind speeds increase. Therefore, small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds.
