The existing moisture pattern suggests cloudy skies could be maintained across SVG into tonight while a few isolated showers are likely across this afternoon(Thursday). Meanwhile, a tropical wave inches closer to our islands and should begin to affect SVG by late afternoon Friday. Light to moderate showers associated with this wave are expected to linger into Saturday with the possibility of isolated thunderstorms. Some additional unstable conditions are also expected around Sunday afternoon.
Gentle to moderate(15-25km/h) easterly to north easterly trades would cross our islands within the next 24 hours. Early Saturday winds should be generally gentle(<20km/h) before shifting to south easterly by afternoon and increasing to moderate again. Seas are smooth to slight on western coasts peaking near 1.0m and moderate on eastern coasts peaking to 2.0m. In addition, there would be no significant haze intrusion within the next few days.
