As moisture levels remain relatively elevated across our island chain, a medium chance of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorm activity are anticipated across Wednesday afternoon. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should remain alert. A mixture of sunshine and cloudy conditions with occasional showers are expected within the next few days. On Saturday, a weak shearline may also trigger a few early showers.
Gentle to moderate(15-25km/h) south easterly trades will continue to cross the islands becoming easterly on occasions. Seas will be smooth to moderate in open waters with swells peaking near 0.5m on the western coasts and ranging between 1.0m to 1.8m on the eastern coasts. There will be no significant dust haze intrusion during this forecast period.
