The Atlantic High Pressure System continues to pump fresh trade winds from the east-north east across our area. Occasionally, moisture being pushed by these brisk winds along with few low level pulses on the southern edge of the High Pressure result in increased cloudiness and showers.

Meanwhile, an upper level jet across the eastern Caribbean could provide some enhancement for shower activity overnight. An elongated zonal-oriented mid level trough should deepen and continue pushing southward to the Trinidad area overnight.

Tomorrow Friday, the wind speeds should reduce to moderate breeze, as well as gradual increase in moisture levels could result in scattered showers increasing by nightfall. On Saturday, a temporary drying of the atmosphere is possible. A weak low level shearline could bring few scattered showers Sunday.

Fresh (29-38km/h) breeze should continue overnight, reducing to moderate (20-28km/h) on Friday. A gradual increase from Saturday should result in the return of strong breeze (39-49km/h) by late Sunday.

Sea swells are retreating and expected to be slight to moderate (1.2m on the west to 2.4m on east) by Friday and Saturday. A gradual increase is expected late Sunday as ocean waters respond to increased winds early next week.

No significant dust concentrations (less than 20 ug/m**3) are expected, with occasional slight haze on the horizon due to thin dust patches.
