Cloudy skies should persist and a few showers are anticipated tonight(Wednesday) as weak instability affects our islands. Fair to partly cloudy skies are likely on Thursday as a relatively dry and stable atmosphere is expected. In addition, a tropical wave should cross our islands on Friday, however models suggest that the mid to upper level environment should remain unfavourable, limiting the chance of any significant shower activity. Similar conditions are anticipated on Saturday.
Moderate to fresh(20-30km/h) east north easterly trades will cross the islands tonight, decreasing(15-25km/h) from Thursday. Seas would remain slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.0m on western coasts and ranging between 1.5m to 2.2m on eastern coasts. Saharan dust haze concentrations should gradually thin out on Thursday.
