The chance of showers increases across Saturday afternoon as moisture is drawn towards our islands from the south. Some improvement is expected as Sunday progresses before a weak shearline affects the islands early Monday. A ridge pattern would rebuild by nightfall.

Moderate to fresh(20-35kmh) easterly to east north easterly trades will cross the islands, becoming strong(near 40km/h) by early Sunday.  Consequently, sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.2m and rising on western coast and near 2.5m on eastern coasts. Sea conditions could further deteriorate along Sunday. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and gusty winds. Slight Saharan dust concentrations should thin out around Monday.
