Weak surface to low-level instability will generate occasional cloudy skies and trigger a few showers along Monday afternoon before a ridge pattern begins to rebuild across the islands tonight. Fair to partly conditions should dominate Tuesday, but by Wednesday, unstable conditions could become dominant as equatorial moisture is drawn towards the islands. Similar conditions are likely on Thursday as instability is expected to linger.
Fresh(near 30km/h) easterly to east north easterly trades will become gentle/moderate(~15-25km/h) up to Tuesday before becoming light and variable from Wednesday. Seas are currently slight to moderate in open water, with swells peaking up to 1.2m on western coasts and ranging between 2.0m to 2.2m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. Sea conditions could begin to improve from Tuesday. In addition, varying concentrations of Saharan dust haze will continue to move across the islands within this forecast period.
