Moisture from a nearby shearline would produce occasional cloudy skies and increase the potential for some light isolated showers this afternoon(Saturday). Breezy conditions are anticipated from Sunday while a few passing showers are forecast during early Monday. On Tuesday, unstable conditions could trigger some light to moderate showers across the islands.
Moderate to fresh(20-35km/h) easterly to east north easterly trades will cross the islands today and become strong(near 40km/h) from Sunday. Wind speeds should temporarily shift to east south easterly along Sunday afternoon, but from Monday, the direction should revert to east north easterly again. Seas are currently slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.2m on western coasts and near 2.2m on eastern coasts and rising. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. In addition, varying concentrations of Saharan dust haze will cross the islands within this forecast period.
