A favourable mid to upper level environment will continue to provide support for occasional moderate showers within the next 24 hours to 36 hours. From Tuesday, a ridge pattern should rebuild across the islands and relatively fair conditions are anticipated. However, unstable conditions should return by mid Wednesday and with this, the chance of showers increases.

Moderate to fresh(25-35km/h) easterly to east north easterly trades are currently crossing the islands but will slightly decrease(20-30km/h) from Monday. Seas are moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.5 m on western coasts and up to 2.5m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. Varying concentrations of Saharan dust haze will cross the islands from Tuesday.
