The Atlantic High Pressure System is dominant across the area with brisk easterly breeze. Mostly fair, hazy and breezy conditions could be interrupted by partly cloudy skies with brief isolated showers this afternoon. A few pockets of lower level moisture converging on the south-western edge of the High Pressure System could result in few scattered showers overnight.
A slight weakening of the High Pressure is possible due to a weak shearline being induced from an Upper level trough across our area late Sunday resulting in few scattered showers. Late Monday into Tuesday, a weak mid-level trough could bring few isolated/scattered showers.
Fresh to strong (25-49km/h) breeze can be expected this afternoon with stronger gusts (56km/h) possible. Mean sea-level pressure is ranging between 1016-1018mb, could dip slightly late Sunday into Monday (1014-1016mb). Visibility is slightly reduced on the horizon due to low levels of dust concentrations across our islands.
Harmless small streaks of Sargassum sea weed are along coastal areas. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should continue to exercise caution as moderate to rough seas in open water continue today, rising slightly on east overnight... Expect wave heights to fall by late Monday.
