Surface to low-level instability across the islands will continue to generate occasional cloudy skies with light to moderate showers during today. By early Sunday, a High Pressure System will re-establish itself across the islands, resulting in mainly fair conditions. However, weak instability along the southern periphery of the High Pressure System is likely to result in occasional with showers from late Sunday into Monday.
Breezy conditions is expected from time to time during the next few days with winds from the east to east northeast ranging between 15 to 35 km/h ( 9 to 22 mph). Seas will remain slight to moderate in open waters with swells ranging between 1.0 m to 1.5 m.
The layer of Saharan dust haze across the islands is forecast to move out of the area by late Sunday, allowing for improved visibility and air quality. However, this will be short-lived as another layer is expected late on Monday.
