As a tropical wave moves away from the islands, periods of light rain and scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms could continue across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight...Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should remain alert. Although cloudiness could be decreased across SVG by late Thursday, unstable conditions associated with the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) linger
across the islands and could support occasional showers during Friday and Saturday. Varying concentrations of Saharan dust continue to create thin film/slight haze across our area, possibly thickening to moderate haze during Thursday night and Friday.
Moderate to occasionally fresh (20 - 30km/h) breeze across our islands, could gust near 40km/h at times and vary in direction between east north-east and south-east.
Marine conditions are slight to moderate with swells ranging 0.5m to 1.5m across our islands.
