Unstable conditions could trigger some showers across SVG from Tuesday mid-afternoon as low-level moisture crosses our islands. Relatively fair conditions should return on Wednesday. From Thursday, warmer than usual temperatures are anticipated due to an expected light wind regime. This increases the possibility for localized afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
Gentle to moderate(15-25km/h) east north easterly trades will gradually decrease to light(<10 km/h) on Friday. Seas will be slight to moderate in open waters (1.0m-1.5m) and increasing. Slight haze intrusion will continue to be across the islands. On Friday, models suggests that the disturbance(19N, 55W) will be well north, away from SVG moving west-northwestward. No watches and/or warnings are anticipated for SVG at this time. However, the SVG Meteorological Services will continue to monitor the progress of this system.
