As major Hurricane Lee maintains its west north-westward track away from our islands, light wind speeds and humid conditions are forecast within the next few days. In addition, a northward migration of moisture could result in some passing showers and interrupt warm conditions on occasions this weekend.
Light (<10km/h) south easterly trades are anticipated across Friday but winds speeds should gradually increase(10-25km/h) from Saturday. Seas are slight to moderate (1.0 - 1.5)m in open water and increasing to generally moderate by Friday night. Marine users should exercise caution. Sea conditions should improve by Sunday. There will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
