Cloudy skies with light rain, moderate showers and isolated thunderstorms continue across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) this afternoon and tonight/early Monday. Slight haze may be noticeable across our area on Monday, thinning-out to a thin-film by Tuesday. The chance of showers across SVG decreases on Tuesday, but isolated showers are possible by the night.
Gentle to moderate (15 - 25km/h) breeze with varying direction could decrease to light (< 15km/h) by Tuesday and become calm at times with little/no cooling effect on Wednesday.
Marine conditions are slight to moderate with swells ranging 0.5m to 1.8m across our islands.
- Tropical Storm Philippe in the Tropical Atlantic Ocean is tracking westward and expected to turn away from the island chain by mid-week.
- A tropical wave in the eastern Atlantic Ocean has a 40% chance of development.
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services (SVG MET Services) will continue to monitor the Tropical Atlantic Ocean and issue updates/advisories as necessary.
