A few showers with isolated thunderstorms are likely across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight and lingering during Wednesday. Weak unstable conditions across the islands late Thursday and during Friday, could result in a few showers and isolated thunderstorms moving across SVG. A thin-film of haze may be noticeable at times, on Thursday and Friday.
Gentle-light winds (<15km/h) from varying
directions become calm at times with little/no cooling effect, resulting in warm/hot conditions.
Marine conditions are slight to moderate with swells ranging 0.5m to 2.0m across our islands.
- Tropical Storm Philippe is now poorly organised and struggling to maintain its strength in the Tropical Atlantic Ocean.
- An area of low pressure in the Atlantic Ocean has 80-90% chance of development.
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services (SVG MET Services) will continue to monitor the Tropical Atlantic Ocean and issue updates/advisories as necessary.
