Tropical Storm Phillipe is located north east of our islands and is generating cloudy to overcast skies and will trigger pockets of moderate showers and isolated thunderstorms along Monday afternoon/evneing. Lingering instability associated with the passage of Phillipe could see cloudy conditions persist into Tuesday along with a few passing showers. An improvement to conditions are likely from Wednesday.
Gentle to moderate (15-25km/h) south easterly trades will cross the islands within the next 48 hours, possibly increasing near showers.
Marine conditions are slight to moderate with swells ranging 1.0m to 1.5m across our islands. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells as temporary wind gusts could agitate sea conditions. Slight Saharan dust haze concentrations may be noticeable across our islands, increasing late Thursday.
