Patches of lower-level clouds are crossing the islands and isolated showers are likely across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) this evening. Over the next couple days, partly cloudy skies could trigger a few showers. Weak unstable conditions could support scattered showers with thunderstorm activity across SVG by Wednesday. A film/slight haze may be noticeable across our area on Tuesday and Wednesday due to Saharan dust.
Light-gentle (5 - 15km/h) winds varying between east north-east and east south-east could increase to moderate (~25km/h) breeze at times, with gusts near 35km/h across our islands.
Marine conditions are slight in open water with swells ranging 0.5m to 1.0m across our islands, gradually rising with slight to moderate (1.0m - 1.5m) conditions Wednesday night.
Tropical Depression Sean is expected to weaken within a couple days…Another area of low pressure in the Tropical Atlantic Ocean has 90% chance for development in a few days…The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services (SVG MET Services) will continue to monitor the Tropical Atlantic Ocean and issue updates/advisories as necessary.
