A weak shearline should generate cloudy skies and trigger some showers across our islands within the next 24 hours. By Sunday, relatively fair conditions are anticipated across the mainland whereas a few showers are likely across the southern Grenadines by evening. The Atlantic high pressure system should be dominant on Monday.

Moderate to fresh (20-30km/h) east south easterly to easterly trades will cross the islands across Friday. A shift to east north easterly is expected from Saturday. Winds will decrease (~15-25km/h) on Sunday before increasing (~35km/h) again on Monday. Seas are moderate in open water. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal north-easterly swells. Sea conditions could temporarily improve on Sunday as wind speeds decrease. There will be no significant Saharan dust haze intrusion for this forecast period.
